Continuous text fields (CLOBs)

Creation procedure

• Create a data item with PPMS type = CLOB, Class = 19 in the Data Dictionary module.
• The length of the continuous text field is determined by DB length and DF length.

Note

• If you want line breaks to be enabled in a continuous text field in the application, the Multiline parameter must be activated in the data field corresponding to the CLOB-DI when customizing the module.
