Workflow: Create Portfolio Status Report DB 39.5.9

Access

Procedure
  • Open the PLANTA project Client.
  • Enter the demo user as portfolio manager R70 in the upper input field.
    • Demo users do not possess passwords, so no input is required in the second field.
  • Confirm with OK.
  • Select Portfolio Management Portfolio Portfolio Overview in the user menu.
  • Click on the ID of the required portfolio in the Portfolio Overview module.
    • The Portfolio module is opened.
    • Click on the Portfolio status reports module tab.
      • The Portfolio Status Reports module is activated.
        • If there already are status reports for the selected portfolio, they are listed at the bottom module margin of the Portfolio status reports area.

Configure Status Report

Procedure
  • Enter the name for the report in the header in the Report field and select the month for which you want the status report to apply from the for* listbox.
  • Make estimates on factors like costs, dates, etc.
    • in the Estimates area by clicking on the Einschaetzungaendern.PNG Change estimate button (DaumenhochSymbol.PNG, DaumenrechtsSymbol.PNG, or DaumennachuntenSymbol.PNG).
      • If no thumb symbol is displayed, this means that no estimate is available.
    • Enter or edit comments on the required factors if necessary.
  • Assign a released status report for the respective planning object assigned to the portfolio in the Please assign the current status reports area.
    • To do so, click on the Projektstatusberichtzuordnen.PNG Assign portfolio status report button. If the planning object has no released status reports, a message indicating this is displayed.
      • The Assign Status Report selection module is opened.
      • Click on the required status report.
        • The status report is assigned to the selected planning object.
    • Define whether the data (from the selected status report) of the respective planning object is considered and displayed in the Time&Budget matrix by setting or removing the checkmark in the TBM display checkbox.
  • The configuration of the portfolio status report is thus completed.
  • The portfolio status report can now be created (frozen).

Create (Freeze) Status Report

Procedure
  • Click on the Edit portfolio status reports button in the Edit Portfolio Status Report module.
  • Answer the following question in the dialog with Yes: Have you updated your estimates and comments?
  • You automatically switch to the Portfolio Status Report module.
    • The status report has been frozen now and can no longer be edited.

Details

  • In the Portfolio Status Report module, the created status report can be released, printed as a PDF, or deleted by clicking on the respective buttons.

Note

  • Released status reports cannot be deleted. In order to delete them, the status of the status reports must be set back to “created” by canceling the release.
