  • Information

    • In this module, all planning objects (ideas, proposals, projects with subprojects if available, programs, requests) are displayed in table form.
    • Here, you can quickly edit all important planning object parameters.

    Details

    • Below the respective planning object, the Stakeholder as well as the total estimate of the manager are displayed and can be edited if the user possesses write rights.
      • Using the Insert Stakeholder context menu command you can assign further stakeholders to a project.
        • When inserting a Stakeholder, the Category field must be filled mandatorily (mandatory field).
        • By selecting the Display utilization and Display Absence context menu commands on the required stakeholder you switch to the Utilization with cause and Absence modules in which the utilization and absence data of the selected stakeholder can be viewed.
    • Via the Open planning object context menu command or by clicking on the ID, you can directly open the panels of the respective planning objects.

    Module Variants

    Base Only projects are displayed.
    Total All planning object types are displayed.
    Ideas Only ideas are displayed.
    Requests Only requests are displayed.
    Proposals Only proposals are displayed.
    Programs Only programs are displayed.

    Change Planning Object Type

    Information
    • Since in this module planning objects of all types are displayed, it is possible to change the type of planning objects here.

    Procedure

    From DB 39.5.13

    • Convert idea to proposal
      • Switch to the Idea module variant in the Main and Subprojects (in Tabular Form) module.
      • Display the hidden (window 9) Type column.
      • Select the value “Proposal” for the required idea from the listbox in the Type field.
      • Save.
      • The idea has now been turned into a proposal. It is saved in the database and is now listed as a proposal in all respective modules.
      • When you click on the link on the ID field, the Proposal panel is now opened instead of the Ideapanel.

    • Convert proposal to project
      • Switch to the Proposal module variant of the Planning Objects (in Table Form) module.
      • Display the hidden (window 9) Type column.
      • Select the value “Projects” from the listbox in the Type field.
      • Save.
      • The proposal has now been turned into a project. It is saved in the database and is now listed as a project in all respective modules.
      • When you click on the link on the ID field, the Project panel is now opened instead of the Proposal panel.

    Up to DB 39.5.13

    • Convert idea to proposal
      • Switch to the Idea module variant in the Main and Subprojects (in Tabular Form) module.
      • For the required idea, select the "Proposals" value in the Type name field.
      • Save.
      • The corresponding idea is converted to a proposal and saved in the database.
      • If you open the appropriate proposal modules, the new proposal is listed there and if you click on the link on the ID field of the new proposal it is opened in the Proposal panel.

    • Convert proposal to project
      • Switch to the Proposal module variant of the Planning Objects (in Table Form) module.
      • For the required Idea, select the "Projects" value in the Type name field.
      • Save.
      • The corresponding proposal is now converted to a project and saved in the database.
      • If you open the appropriate project modules, the new project is listed there and if you click on the link on the ID field of the new project it is opened in the Project panel.

    • When you use process models, you also have the option to change the planning object type via process models. For further information, click here.
