Information

From DB 39.5.0

  • In this module, the utilization of a resource selected (from the listbox) is displayed by the code of projects in which this resource is scheduled. The utilization display is done in the form of a histogram.
    • If a department resource has been selected, their child resources are not displayed automatically NEW but can be displayed by clicking on the Display child resources button.

Up to DB 39.5.0

  • In this module, the utilization of a resource selected (from the listbox) is displayed by the code of projects in which this resource is scheduled.
  • Details

    • The causes of utilization (projects and tasks for which the resource is planned or for which he or she has already worked) can be displayed by opening the tree structure.
    • On project and task level, the Remaining effort, Overload, Calculated start date, and Calculated end date of the respective resource are displayed.
    • Remaining effort and Overload are additionally summarized on resource level.
    • In the scale area, resource dates per project and task are additionally represented in a Gantt chart.

    New from DB 39.5.11

    Notes
    • Only the utilization in
      • projects with Status = "1" (active projects) is displayed.
      • projects which have scheduling data in the period from today - 30 d up to today + 365 d is displayed.
    • tasks for which the resource in question is planned and which already have an Actual end are displayed grayed out.

    Note

    • PLANTA recommends to carry out a replanning of all projects before viewing the utilization diagram, especially if changes have been made to the resource structure.

The values for the histogram bars are each calculated from the Planned code 1 to Planned code 5 columns.
ActDB12.png Actual load of the resource(s)   The values for the histogram bar are taken from the Used column from the period records of the resource(s) (DT468). The values in the period records, in turn stem from the working time recording of the resources (DT472).
KapLinieDB15.png Available capacity of resource(s)   The values for histogram bars are calculated from the Available capacity column from the period records of the resource(s) (DT468). The value in DT468, however, comes from the general Available capacity defined for the resource in the Resource Data Sheet.
The limiting line at the top of the bar will be visible despite of overlapping by utilization bars.
GrundlastLinieDB15.png Basic load of resource(s)   The values for the histogram bar are calculated from the Basic load (factor value 3) column from the period records of the resource(s)(DT468). The value in DT468, again, comes from the general basic load defined for the resource in the Resource Data Sheet.
The limiting line at the top margin of the bar will be visible despite overlapping by utilization bars.
