Information

  • In the Documents module, documents can be assigned to the portfolio and administered.

New from DB 39.5.11

Module variants
All documents All open, completed, and archived documents are displayed.
Archived documents All documents for which the Archive checkbox is activated are displayed.
Completed elements All documents for which the Completed checkbox is activated are displayed.

Insert Document

From DB 39.5.11

Procedure
  • If there are no entries in the module yet, or if the required category is not among those already created,
    • select the required category from the Category listbox (below the module header) and click on the Insert document button with the plus symbol.
      • The new category record with the required category, and below a new (empty) document record, are inserted.
      • Enter a document name in the Document field and a short description in the Description field, if required.
      • Attach the file in the Linked file field.
    • Save.
  • If the required category already exists and has one or more documents,
    • insert a new document record
      • by right-clicking on the category or on a document record and
      • selecting the Insert Portfolio document command from the context menu.
    • Edit the document record as described above.
    • Save.

Details NEW

  • If the Completed and/or Archive checkboxes are activated for documents, the respective documents are no longer displayed in the Base variant. Instead, they are moved to the Completed documents or Archived documents variants.

Up to DB 39.5.11

Procedure
  • Either click on the Insert document button
  • or right-click on the area heading and select the Insert Portfolio Documents command from the context menu
  • or right-click on a document record, if there are any, and select the Insert Portfolio Documents command from the context menu
    • A new (empty) document record is inserted.
    • Enter a document name in the Document name field.
    • Attach a file in the File field.
  • Save.

Delete Document

Procedure
  • Mark the record which contains the required document.
  • Delete the record via the Delete button in the menu bar.
