Save Changed Filter Criteria

Information
  • You cannot save in the filter criteria module. If you want to save filter criteria for the reference module, you have to switch to the reference module and save the customizing via the Tools Save module customizing menu items.
  • However, this can only be done by the user with customizing rights. Furthermore, the user with customizer rights can change the filter criteria in the Option Module for MV module and save them if necessary.
  • Users without customizer rights have the option to create a module variant with the required filter criteria.

Notes

From DB 39.5.8

  • The customizer defines via the Filter criteria parameter which fields are displayed in the Filter Criteria module.
    • NEW The parameters on which filtering is generally not possible are not displayed in the Filter Criteria module, regardless of the customizer’s setting. This concerns all data items with DF behavior "a", "ba", "c", "d", "m", "hk", "py".
  • NEW In virtual data items, the Filter from and Filter to fields and their values are marked in red in order for them to stand out against the real data items.

Up to DB 39.5.8

  • The customizer defines via the Filter criteria parameter which fields are displayed in the Filter Criteria module.
  • New from DB 39.5.9

    Reset Filter Criteria

    Information
    • It is possible to reset changed filter criteria to the default settings.
      • To do so, click on the Reset and filter button.
    • The procedure is favorable if, e.g., the filter criteria have been changed several times. In order to go back to the original state, it is no longer necessary to close the module and reopen it.

    Notes

    • Only filter criteria that have been set via customizing are reset.
    • Filter criteria that were changed via the Option Module for MV module are not reset.
