Information
- The module provides information on the PLANTA products and add-ons used in the current license as well as the number of reference objects.
- This information is summarized in the License level field.
- Which components are displayed depends on your license.
- The specifications for the PLANTA project and PLANTA portfolio components are only available if these components have actually been licensed.
- The exact specifications given here depend on the license model:
- If you have selected the “By number of named users” model, the Named users entry with the number of licensed users will be displayed in this field.
- If you have selected the “By number of reference objects” model, the PLANTA project or PLANTA portfolio entry (or both) with the number of reference objects licensed respectively will be displayed in this field.
- The exact specifications given here depend on the license model:
- PLANTA link, PLANTA MSP link, and PLANTA customizer are always listed,
- however, for these components no number of licensed objects will be specified but only whether the respective component has been licensed (entry "100000" or "500000") or not (entry "0"). The number of actually used objects is counted anyway. However, the limit can hardly ever be exceeded due to the high specifications set by default.
- Languages are only displayed if a language other than German has been licensed. If this is the case, the respective language and the number of actual users in this language are displayed.
- The specifications for the PLANTA project and PLANTA portfolio components are only available if these components have actually been licensed.
- Under the respective component, reference objects are listed with the following number specifications ( Exception: languages. See the entry above.):
- two absolute numbers separated by “/”.
- First number: number of actually used objects
- Second number: number of licensed objects
- percentage figure in brackets: share of actually used objects
- Second number: permitted limit

- The number of days is displayed separately. NEW

From DB 39.5.14
- The License field is hidden by default and can be displayed by the user if necessary.
- NEW Furthermore the license level can be viewed in the System Information module which can be opened via CTRL+B or from the ? menu.
- The components licensed by the customer and their volumes must be specified in the license.conf configuration file and be stored in the server. This step is only obligatory from Server 39.5.29.
- If no customer-specific license file is stored, the server accesses the file with standard values stored by PLANTA by default. This file may fall far below the volume licensed by the customer.
