In this module, already existing portfolio status reports are listed with date, status, and evaluation by the portfolio manager for different factors.
you can create new status reports out of the Portfolio Status Reports module by clicking on the New status report button. As a result, you switch to the Configure Portfolio Status Report module.
In the Estimates area, you can create or change estimates and comments on different portfolio factors which are to be used for the status report currently to be created.
Procedure
By clicking on the button, the thumb symbol changes from via to .
If no thumb symbol is displayed, this means that no estimate is available.
Repeat the task for each required area.
In the Comment field, remarks can be added to each area and existing ones can be changed.
Details
The data of the assigned planning objects is displayed in table and graphical form for all subareas except for the Portfolio and Quality subareas.
The data refers to the month and year selected in the for field.
The status reports assigned to the planning objects are the data source. For further information, see the Assignments area.
Notes on graphics
If there is equal data for different months, the histograms of the individual months are summarized to a block histogram. The block in which the month selected for the portfolio status report is located is visualized by a frame.

Assign Planning Object Status Reports
Information
In the Please assign current status reports area, released status reports are assigned to the required planning objects the data of which is to be included in the portfolio status reports to be created.
Here, you can choose whether the planning objects are displayed in Time&Budget matrix.
Procedure
Click on the Assign status report to planning object button in the line of the required planning object to assign status reports. If the planning object has no released status reports, this is indicated by a message.
The Assign Status Report selection module is opened.
Click on the required status report.
The status report is assigned to the selected planning object.
The Display WBS checkbox is activated:
The respective planning object is considered and displayed in the portfolio status report.
The Display TBM checkbox is activated:
The respective planning object is considered in the Time&Budget Matrix.
If changes are made to the assignment of status reports to planning objects, or if entries in checkboxes are changed, please click on the NEWUpdate button at the bottom left margin of the module in order for the calculation and the display of the data to be refreshed.

In the Portfolio planning objects without status reports area, all planning objects of the portfolio for which no status reports have been created are listed.

Create Status Report
Procedure
Click on the Create status report button.
Answer the following question in the dialog with Yes: Are all entries (estimates/comments) and assignments (status reports to planning objects) complete and up-to-date?
The status report has been created now and can no longer be edited.
You automatically switch to the Portfolio Status Report module in which the created status reports can be viewed and released or printed if necessary.
Portfolio Status Reports
Information
In the Portfolio status reports area, already existing status reports are listed with specifications on date, status, and estimate by the portfolio manager on different portfolio factors (dates, costs, etc.).
By clicking on the report ID, you can open and view the corresponding report with detailed data in the Portfolio Status Report module.
