Roles MOD003649

Access path

Information

  • In the Roles module, all available PLANTA Standard roles are displayed and can be edited.
  • You can create new roles here.

In the PLANTA software, roles are structuring units with the help of which work areas can be grouped to improve clarity. Work areas on the other hand are used to group modules and menu items. In user menus, modules are listed grouped by work area and role. Roles are additionally used to control user access to modules and menu items (Access Rights).

Note

  • A comprehensive overview of access control in PLANTA project can be found here.
