Budget, Costs, and Revenues (Delta View) MOD009AIN

Information

• In this module, cost and budget data of the projects
  • from the current planning (DT823 with source from DT461: Cost budget (current), Total costs (current), Total revenues (current)) and
  • from the status reports (DT823: Budget, Costs, Revenues) as well as
  • from their delta values (current planning vs.status reports) (Cost budget delta, Total revenues delta, and Total costs delta) is displayed grouped by a particular criterion.

Module header

• The projects displayed in this module are grouped by Code by default. It is, however, possible to change groupings or have projects displayed ungrouped.
  • In the Group by field, you can either change the grouping criterion by making a selection from the listbox, or delete it. After you have clicked on the Use changes button, the projects are either displayed grouped by the selected criterion or they are displayed ungrouped.
  • If a grouping criterion is selected in one of the modules which use grouping criteria, it automatically takes effect in all modules with groupings.
• The projects to be displayed in this module can be filtered using object filters.
  • If there already is an object filter, it can be selected from the listbox on the Filter field. After you have clicked on the Use changes button, only projects which correspond to the filter will be displayed.
  • You can edit existing object filters or create new ones in the Object Filter module which is opened via the Edit filter button.
  • If a grouping criterion is selected in one of the modules which use object filters, it automatically takes effect in all other modules with object filters.
• In the Data source field, a report data source (final report, active ststus report (last released status report), baseline, or previous status report (report which was active before the last active report)) can be selected from the listbox. If you click on the Use changes button, budget, costs, and revenues are displayed on the basis of the selected report.

Data

• Budget, cost, and revenue values of all projects are displayed in table form in three lines and on three levels (see also information): Report (dependent on the data source), Current (current planning), and Deviation (delta values) each on three levels:
  • In the sum area (sum level), the sum values of all projects are output.
    • Here, sum values for budget and costs are displayed in the form of pie charts grouped by the selected criterion (see header).
  • On group level, the values of the respective group are displayed. They are the summarized values from all corresponding projects.
    • Here, budget, cost, and revenue values are additionally displayed as Gantt charts.
  • On project level (display by extending the tree structure of the respective group), the budget and cost values of the projects are displayed.
    • By clicking on the ID of the required project, you can switch to the corresponding Project panel in which you can edit or view the program data depending on your user rights.
    • If you click on the link in the ID of the status report, the status report is opened in the Status Report module.

Notes

• For structured projects, the summed values of the entire project structure are displayed.
