How do I structure records in PLANTA project?
Records are no longer structured via the
Raise level and
Reduce level menu items, as in releases <39. They are now structured via
Drag&Drop Move.
How do I outdent records?
In PLANTA
project, records are both structured and outdented via
Drag&Drop Move.
Why is it not possible to copy record(s) to an empty record via Drag & Drop?
In release 39, the
Drag&Drop behavior has fundamentally changed compared to earlier releases. A.o., a blank record is no longer required to copy a record and therefore this is no longer supported by the program. Instead, the record can simply be copied to the required position by releasing the mouse cursor at the appropriate position. As a result, a new record is created automatically. If you try to copy to a blank record anyway, the
Cannot copy message is displayed.
Is it possible to continue working while the hourglass is displayed?
- As long as the hourglass is displayed, only pure client operations can be executed, e.g. switching to another panel, changing values in a field, clicking on a check box, etc.
- However, operations such as saving and opening another module, closing a module, etc. are not possible.
- These operations are executed as soon as the action that generated the hourglass is completed.
Is it possible to continue working as long as a dialog message is displayed and not confirmed?
- As long as the dialog message is not confirmed, an hourglass is displayed next to the cursor in every panel in which the dialog message is displayed.
Why are not only child areas displayed in the insert context menu?
- This is due to the context menu structure.
- It consists of two areas.
- The first subpart is always identical, regardless of the data area from which the context menu is opened. In this subpart, the data area(s) of the highest level for which insertion is allowed are displayed.
- Whether the second subpart is displayed and which areas are displayed there depends on whether insertion is allowed for focused data area and/or its child data areas.
Why can some projects/tasks be edited and others cannot?
Whether changes can be made in planning objects depends on the
user's access rights.
When is the _Only input of existing numbers allowed message displayed?
The message is displayed when a number is entered in a field with an
automatic ID number that does not exist in the database.
Note
- If the same number is entered a second time, the message will not be displayed again. This is due to fact that the client only sends new values, not identical ones, to the server.
Why does a filter criterion not have the expected effect?
This can either be caused by incorrectly set filter criteria (e.g. in structures) or particular module customizing settings. Please check your filter criteria or refer to your customizer.
Why is the Invalid pattern: "+". "+" parsing - Quantifier {x,y} following nothing. message displayed when searching in the module?
This message appears when the
