Release 19

Features

  • The user interface of PLANTA pulse was redesigned.
    • The color scheme and design were changed. Via the menu on the left, the individual panels and other options can be accessed.
    • The login screen was also adjusted to the new design.
    • The structure of the User Settings was redesigned.
  • The last viewed boards and cards are now saved and can be accessed directly via the menu on the left under Recently Viewed.
  • A new search option was introduced, which can be used to search for projects, boards and cards. The search can be opened via the menu on the left or via the key S.
    • Via further search options, the results can be filtered.
  • Via the menu on the left or the key N, notes can now be created.
    • The notes can be saved and converted to boards or cards later.
  • The option to be notified about new changes on cards was introduced. To receive notifications, the option Highlight Recently Modified Cards can be activated in the User Settings.
    • Additionally, the number of changed cards can be displayed by activating the option Show Number of Recently Modified Cards.
    • Via the button Mark all elements as read, the highlightings can be removed.
  • The categories in PLANTA pulse were renamed to projects.
  • The panel My Projects was added.
    • In this panel, new projects and new boards within projects can be created.
    • Furthermore, a project team can be created which can be separated into project groups with different permissions.
      • The project team is automatically added to newly created boards in the project.
    • Projects can also be opened via their own URL.
    • For projects, a detailed description can be added, which can be formatted using Markdown.
  • The panel My Tasks was replaced by the panel Dashboard. The two alternative views Pinboard and Overview are still available.
    • In the panel Dashboard only the first three card members are displayed. Further members are displayed with a number (e.g. “+3”).
  • Cards with recorded working hours can now not be deleted anymore but only archived, so that working hours will not be lost.
  • The documentation for PLANTA pulse can now be accessed via a link in the User Menu.
  • The editing of comments can now be disabled after a certain amount of time. The option can be activated in the panel Administration.
  • In the panel Administration, board admins can now be configured.
  • The board loading times were improved.

Bug fixes

  • The problem that the wrong board view was displayed when switching between boards was fixed.
  • The problem while moving checklists was fixed.
  • The problem that the WIP Limit was ignored when cards were moved via multi-selection was fixed.
  • The problem that pop up windows were not displayed correctly was fixed.
  • The problem that lists were sorted incorrectly during export and import of a board was fixed.
  • The problem that the Archive also displayed boards which could not be restored by the user was fixed.
  • The problem that the setting Allow Moving of Cards to Other Projects in the panel Administration was ignored when lists were moved was fixed.
  • The problem that links are displayed incorrectly in the sidebar was fixed.
  • Errors in the login screen were fixed.
  • The problem that the sidebar could hide a card or vice versa was fixed.
  • The problem that list titles or labels can hide other elements was fixed.
