Information

Details

  • If the department resource itself has overload, it will be indicated in red color below the utilization diagram of these resources.
  • The overloads of the individual resources of the department are not identified as long as they are compensated by other resources. If, however, the sum of the overloads of individual resources causes overload for the department, the overload of the department will be identified as well.
    • The overload numbers below the diagram are specified in days.
    • By expanding the tree structure on the Overload text (in red color as well) or by double-clicking on an overload number in the diagram, you can open the subarea of the same name in which the causes (projects) of the overload are displayed. Here, overloads are displayed in hours. This may possibly lead to rounding differences in the displayed overload values. It may also occur that no overload value in days is displayed below the diagram, although an overload record is available, as is the case, e.g., for overload values of less than one day.
  • By clicking on the ID of the required project, you can switch to the corresponding Project panel in which you can edit or view the program data depending on your user rights.

Note

  • PLANTA recommends to carry out a replanning of all projects before viewing the utilization diagram, especially if changes have been made to the resource structure.

CodeADB14.png Planned load (remaining load) of the resource(s) in projects The color of the bar is determined by the code of the projects.
CodeADB14.png Code A
CodeBDB14.png Code B
CodeCDB14.png Code C
CodeDDB14.png Code D
CodeEDB14.png Code E
The code is defined in the Project Core Data module of the respective project.
The values for the histogram bars are each calculated from the Planned code 1 to Planned code 5 columns.
ActDB12.png Actual load of the resource(s)   The values for the histogram bar are taken from the Used column from the period records of the resource(s) (DT468). The values in the period records, in turn stem from the working time recording of the resources (DT472).
KapLinieDB15.png Available capacity of resource(s)   The values for histogram bars are calculated from the Available capacity column from the period records of the resource(s) (DT468). The value in DT468, however, comes from the general Available capacity defined for the resource in the Resource Data Sheet.
The limiting line at the top of the bar will be visible despite of overlapping by utilization bars.
GrundlastLinieDB15.png Basic load of resource(s)   The values for the histogram bar are calculated from the Basic load (factor value 3) column from the period records of the resource(s)(DT468). The value in DT468, again, comes from the general basic load defined for the resource in the Resource Data Sheet.
The limiting line at the top margin of the bar will be visible despite overlapping by utilization bars.
