An avatar is a small picture that is displayed for each user in PLANTA pulse on boards and cards. If no picture was selected, the initials of the user will be displayed. By clicking on the avatar in the upper right corner, the user menu can be opened. See also: Change avatar User Menu

Boards are used to manage tasks in PLANTA pulse. Within boards, tasks can be recorded on cards and sorted into lists/swimlanes. See also: Boards

The board admin can configure further settings on the board, such as the board background or the board view. At the beginning, the creator of a board is always the admin, but he/she can also give the permission to other members. Board admins are marked with an A in the list of board members and are always displayed first. See also: Board permissions

In the board archive of a board, archived cards, lists and swimlanes are displayed. They can be restored, if needed. See also: Board archive

For every board, a background image can be configured, e.g. by uploading a picture or by selecting a picture of the platform Unsplash. See also: Board background

A board card is a card in the panel Boards which represents a board and can be used to access the board. On the board card, the board background and, for example, the board title and description are displayed. See also: Board cards Boards

In the panel Boards, all boards are displayed as board cards and sorted by projects. When starting PLANTA pulse, this panel is opened by default and can be opened via the PLANTA logo. See also: Panel Boards

The board view defines whether swimlanes should be displayed on a board. The board admin can also save the current view for all board members. See also: Board view

On boards, cards can be created to collect tasks and assign them to the board members. In the preview of the cards on a board, a part of the information (e.g. members and labels) is shown. By clicking on a card, the detail view of the card can be opened and further information can be accessed. See also: Cards

New cards receive a card key automatically. It consists of the project key (if the board belongs to a project) and an automatically generated number. Cards on boards which don’t belong to a project receive a numerical card key only. In the board menu, board admins can define whether the card keys should be displayed or not. The card menu can be found in the detail view of the card in the upper right corner, next to the card title. It contains further options for the selected card. See also: Card menu

Individual boards can be connected to a chat. The chat application needs to be installed separately. See also: Configure chat channel

A board can be added to the favorites. Favorite boards are displayed in the menu under Favorites. When a user creates a board, it is automatically added to the favorites. The setting can be changed in the board bar of the individual boards. See also: Favorites Add to favorites

Via the notification mode, every board member can configure individually about which changes of the board he/she wants to be notified via e-mail. See also: Notification mode

Project admins are project members which belong to a project permission group with the admin permission. They can edit the project and the project groups and create new boards within the project. In the panel Time Recording, a user can see his/her recorded working hours. On the cards, new working hours can be recorded. The panel can also be opened by pressing the key Z. See also: Panel Time Recording
